Visitor's Rides - '64-'72

Tom and Shelly Atencio's

1968 442 Convertible

We bought this car in May of 1999. It is a 68 442 convertible with a 1976 455 block with an Edelbrock Performer intake and an Edelbrock 1406 Carb. It has "E" heads with "Z - W" exhaust manifolds. I updated the front suspension to Energy Suspension poly-graphite bushings.

It has a TH400 with a shift kit, air conditioned, bucket seats with a column shift (soon to be converted to a floor/console). I am changing the open 2:78 rear to a posi with 3:23 gears. See the progression of my swap here. If you love Old's like I do drop me a line at Letstry@aol.com or meet me in the Rocket Talk Chat room here on this site!

Next to the 68 below is our 70 F-85 with a 350 and a TH350 we just bought (2001) from the origional owner. They both need some work still but it is still more fun to just drive em! Hope to see all you Oldsmobile fans at the OCA Nationals in Denver in July 2001. Here is a link to a site that has the information: Oldsmobile Club of America
