1971 Cutlass Supreme Convertible

    This is my 71 convertible. I purchased it in February in Buffalo NY, brought it home to Connecticut and waited for warm weather! The car was mostly complete when I bought it, but I completed it beginning with replacing the points with a Crane and Pertronix system, replacing a cracked intake with a Performer and rebuilding the carb. I had an H pipe welded into the exhaust and replaced the mismatched mufflers with Flowmaster Delta-Flows. A transmission tune-up and engine tune-up (Thanks Walley) and it runs perfect. I have recently detailed under the hood, but that didn't keep it from bring in a trophy and making the front page of a local paper. It's a ball to drive, and as much as I like the open road, I like the shouts and comments from people in traffic.
